The George Doro Fixtures Company was established in 1919 and operated as a family-owned business making architectural millwork for nearly a century. Iconic Real Estate Investments purchased the property and intends to rehabilitate as many of the original buildings as possible. We worked with them to help establish a comprehensive brand and regional presence for the mixed use development that facilitates an atmosphere of community engagement and allows for innovative placemaking to further activate downtown Jacksonville. Once complete, The Doro District will transform the corner of Bay Street and A. Philip Randolph into an epicenter for culinary, cultural and artistic creativity by embracing tenants who will be catalysts to redevelop and reimagine the area.
